DEPRESSED former builder Alexander Cartwright took his own life after failing to come to terms with the loss of his mother.
The 33-year-old, who lived at his father's home in Hammond Avenue, Brown Edge, hanged himself in nearby Tinster Wood on January 25 earlier this year.
Alexander was found with several suicide notes and an empty bottle of whisky.
And North Staffs Coroner's Court heard Alexander had fallen into thousands of pounds worth of debt.
