TROUBLED Kyle Evans has avoided a jail sentence despite waving a Second World War era sword around and shouting in a public place.
The 25-year-old had been shouting and gesturing towards a man in the window of an upstairs flat in Brookwood Drive, Meir, on September 16, 2015.
Evans left after five minutes, only to return 10 minutes later brandishing the one metre-long weapon before continuing to shout and slash the sword from side to side.
