POLICE are tomorrow expected due to name a man who killed himself at a town centre Boots store.
The 50-year-old victim – who lived in Stoke-on-Trent – is believed to have 'cut his own throat' after demanding drugs from the shop in High Street, Newcastle.
Paramedics tried to save his life but he was pronounced dead inside the store following the incident at just after 9am on Friday.
He was expected to be formally identified over the weekend before his name can be released.
