POLICE are warning families to take care of their gnomes.
Several have been stolen from the back garden of a property in Norman Avenue, Mill Hill.
Officers are concerned as they say the thefts are part of a growing trend across all parts of the county.
A police spokesman said: "Please warn neighbours to be on their guard, especially those with such ornaments, and to review their security arrangements."
