POLICE were today continuing their investigation after a man suffered fatal injuries when his van hit a car before smashing into a railway bridge.
The Ford Transit Tipper collided with a white Ford Focus on the A51, at Stableford near Baldwins Gate.
Paramedics were called to the scene at the junction of Bent Lane and Dog Lane but nothing could be done to save the man, who was in his 60s.
