Firefighters are currently battling a blaze at a Workingmen's Club.Fire crews are using four pumps and an Aerial Ladder Platform at Halmerend Workingmen's Club, Halmerend after being called to the scene earlier at 5.56pm this eveningCrews from Hanley, Sandyford, Newcastle and Loggerheads are attending the scene.The cause of the fire is not yet known.More information as we get it.
