FAMILIES are fighting plans to force them to pay to park outside their homes.Residents in Noblett Road, Sneyd Green, have received council letters asking them whether they would support parking permits to stop motorists leaving their cars on grass verges.But they have now called on Stoke-on-Trent City Council to look at different schemes, such as installing bollards, to help resolve the problem.Pensioner Elaine Reece said it would be 'unfair' to make them pay to park.
