People enjoying a midnight snack were in for a close call when a van smashed through barriers on the A50 and ended up in the restaurant's car park.The van ended up in the parking bays used by customers waiting for their drive-through orders at the McDonald's restaurant in Uttoxeter shortly after 3am on Sunday morning.No-one was using the bays at the time.A Staffordshire Police spokesman said the driver of the van had already left the scene on foot before police got to the scene.He said:...
