Hundreds of families could be left without access to sports facilities after it was revealed a town's leisure centre is shutting at the end of next month.Kidsgrove Sports Centre's building has fallen into such a bad state that it would cost at least £2.4 million to bring it up to an acceptable standard.Now shocked staff have been told it is due to close on June 30.
