A HEALTH trust with £2.5 million of debts wrote off £20,000 which was overpaid to staff because of a glitch in the wages system. They were among 316 community NHS and social care workers who received a total of £200,000 too much during 2015. One employee received an overpayment of £1,897 in a single month. Now bosses at the Staffordshire and Stoke-on-Trent Partnership NHS Trust (SSOTP) have asked for the money back and arranged easy payments for staff who can't afford...
