A road was briefly closed this morning due to reports of a suspect package.The package was in the Station Road area of Shelton shortly before 10am.On closer inspection however the package was revealed to be an inflatable bed in a suitcase.A Staffordshire Police spokeswoman said the incident had been resolved quickly.She said: "The suspect package turned out to be an inflatable bed in a suitcase. We have received reports the A52 is flooded.The A52 Werrington Road at is apparently flooded at Brookhouse Lane in Bucknall.Reports suggest that the road is flooded due to recent heavy rain.
