LABOURER Dean Bickerton called police to ask to speak to his mum before he killed himself.
The 32-year-old, who lived on Castle Road in Mow Cop, had been at a party before he visited mum Marie Butler at her home on Leek Road on March 22 this year.
He told her he was tired and went to bed, but when she returned from a short shopping trip with her husband, she found the front door was unlocked and Mr Bickerton had left without leaving a note.
