BUSINESSES claim that a lack of parking outside their shops is killing off trade.
Now the owners of Midland Car Paints, in Lonsdale Street, Stoke, have appealed to Stoke-on-Trent City Council to scrap its current parking system.
Husband and wife Andrew and Wendy Goodwin say their customers are regularly complaining about being 'booked' as all six spaces near the business have been taken up. The parking bays are shared between three shops.
