A DATE has been set for the funeral of a double rapist who died in a flat fire.David Wardenier was rescued from his home in Stirling Close, Bentilee, and given CPR but died later that day in hospital on January 23.It is thought that the 60-year-old had accidentally turned on the hob rather than the oven's temperature gauge.Following his death, it emerged Mr Wardenier was handed a 15-year jail term in 2005 for attempted murder, kidnap and two counts of rape.His funeral will take place at...
