FAMILIES are demanding action to boost safety on their street after an out-of-control van smashed through three gardens.
The vehicle hit a telegraph pole and a lamppost before careering into the front of the properties in Park Lane, Knypersley – destroying hedges and fences and churning up plants.
It is believed the driver and his passenger fled the scene before the white van was recovered over the weekend.
Now fed-up residents are calling for speed bumps or cameras to be installed...
