DOZENS of jobs across the region have been saved after a buyout of discount shoe retailer Brantano.
The chain plunged into administration last month following financial problems.
But now 140 of the stores have been snapped up by a firm controlled by Alteri Investors.
They include Brantano outlets at Festival Park, Longton, Congleton, Stafford, Crewe and Uttoxeter.
Customers have spoken of their delight at the discount shops being saved.
