EMERGENCY services were called to a man stranded in the floods this morning.
The motorist has entered standing water on road in his ford transit van before a slight dip meant it became too deep.
His engine then cut out in the middle of the flood water and he called emergency services for help.
The man was travelling along Gayton Lane in Stafford when the incident occurred.
Staffordshire Fire and Rescue received the call for help at around 10.30am.
