Fed-up residents are hoping that an 'eyesore' building will be snapped up at auction and turned into a shop.
The derelict property on the corner of Dolly's Lane and Haywood Road, Stanfield, has been a magnet for vandals after being boarded up years ago.
Now it is to go under the hammer this evening with an asking price of £90,000.
Families living nearby want the buyer to turn the building, opposite The Goose Inn, back into a grocery store.
